Search Terms
When you type a name, location, or other search detail into a third-party search tool, that query is sent to the provider operating the tool. This site does not store those search terms in its own records.
Messages
If you send an email or other contact message, we may keep the information needed to read it and respond. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.

Some linked records are public under Wisconsin law, including access rules in Wis. Stat. 19.35, limitations in Wis. Stat. 19.36, and enforcement provisions in Wis. Stat. 19.37. Those laws govern government-record access; they do not make this site a government record custodian.
